Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup natural, chunky peanut butter (I used the brand "Smucker's")
  • 1/3 cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder (I used the brand "Orgain")
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (melted, for topping)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mash the bananas with the back of a fork until smooth.
  • To the same bowl, add the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  • To the banana mixture, add in the almond flour, protein powder, cinnamon, and salt. Combine ingredients, a dough-like ball should form.
  • Using a tablespoon scoop, roll the dough into bite-sized balls and place onto a small plate or cookie sheet.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave, about 45 to 60 seconds. Drizzle or dip the top of your "cookie dough" balls with the melted chocolate, measuring with your heart!
  • Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to set the chocolate, and enjoy!
