When summer hits, meals become more about ease than effort. Between being out and about, quick lunches, and not wanting to spend extra time cooking, having something you can throw together in minutes makes all the difference. This teriyaki roll bowl fits right in. It’s built on simple jasmine rice, browned ground turkey tossed in our star-of-the-show, Primal Kitchen Teriyaki Sauce, and fresh, crunchy toppings like carrots, cucumber, chives, and creamy avocado. Everything comes together in one bowl with minimal prep, but still feels balanced, flavorful, and satisfying enough to carry you through a busy summer day.


Teriyaki Roll Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey (I used 93/7)
- 1.5 cups jasmine rice cooked according to packaging
- 10 oz shredded carrots
- 1 cucumber diced
- 1 avocado diced
- 4 tbsp fresh chives chopped
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce I used the "Primal Kitchen" brand
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare jasmine white rice according to the package instructions. Once cooked, fluff with a fork and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground turkey until fully browned and no longer pink, breaking it up as it cooks.
- As the turkey is cooking, dice the cucumber and avocado into bite-sized pieces.
- Once the turkey is cooked through, drain any excess liquid if needed. Add your Primal Kitchen Teriyaki Sauce (or preferred teriyaki sauce) and stir until the turkey is evenly coated and heated through.
- Add a base of jasmine rice to each bowl. Spoon the teriyaki ground turkey over the rice and top with cucumber, carrots, avocado, chives, and teriyaki sauce as desired, and enjoy!
